Combat with CORONA
COVID 19 has created an unforeseen situation for Humanity. We have never heard or witnessed such types of Pandemic. The entire world is shattered with the disease. In this challenging situation where the external condition is not favorable, we need to balance our inner self so that we may overcome this situation smoothly. So we can say that we can not change the paristhiti (situation) but what we can manage is our own manhsthiti (Mindset) So let us see what is the Paristhiti (outer situation) and what should be our Manhsthiti (Mindset).
Outer Situations (Paristhiti):- Corona is spreading more wildly than a jungle fire (Badwanal). It has already claimed lakhs of lives from different parts of the world. In India, we are not behind. The number of infections is increasing as more testing is being done. Our social media, print media, and TV news are flooded with the news related to Corona. Everywhere Corona is the talk of the street. So the outer situation that we are witnessing today has adversely affected our inner self. We are feeling scared and tensed.
Our Inner self/ Mindset (Manhsthiti):- We are the result of what we think or what our mind conceives. Our thinking and perceptions are formed based on our experiences. What we see, hear, and read. The outer situation is not into our control. We can not change it as per our wish but what we can manage is our inner self or our Mindset (Manhsthiti). And when our mindset shifts we see a completely different outcome. Our responses change and hence the outcome. What we need to do to shift our mindset from this crisis to a normal life.
- Avoiding the Media:- The more news and social media we watch the more negative thoughts will crop up into our minds. So we need to avoid social media and other news channels. If the input of negativity will be blocked then the chances of getting negative will be less.
- Conversation:- Since all of us are witnessing the same scenario around us so the talk of the street is the Pandemic only. It is important to say our friends' relatives and colleagues our circle of influence not to talk negatively rather talk something positive so that our mood gets charged up with positive thoughts.
- Abiding by the hygiene guidelines:- We do not have a choice but to abide by the social distancing and other hygiene factors as imposed by the Health ministry or WHO. Despite following all the hygiene tips we need to do regular exercise and eat healthily to be fit so that we can combat Corona in a better way if at all we get infected with the disease.
- Meditation:- Meditation has tremendous healing power we should do it regularly to be healthy by our mind and soul. Meditating with the chant of Oum enhances our inner strength. It is said that the Oum is the sound of nature and this sound comes from our naval point. Our naval point has the connection of all our 72000 nadis (veins).
This tough condition will not exist forever. It will be over sooner or later so it's better not to lose hope and optimism. The strength of the virus is decreasing and the recovery rate is also improving day by day. Our mortality rate has also reduced substantially so we are seeing a ray of hope in this gloomy environment.
